Speed Scanning
With high-speed scanning, thousands of documents can be scanned in a matter of hours.
Unbound documents can be fed into the ADF (automatic document feeder) approximately 50 pages at a time . . .
The lower the dpi (dots per inch) you require, the quicker the process. (e.g., 200 dpi will scan faster than 600 dpi.)
The industry standard for most scanning requirements is 300 dpi for text conversion, and 75 dpi for images. (For images, some experimentation is needed, and if a 95 dpi setting produces a better result, we will use it.)

High-speed scanning is normally done with uniform-sized pages . . .
Bound books can be speed scanned if we can cut the binding. Otherwise, manual scanning is used.

The PRICE LIST (above) is offered as a general guide only; actual costs may vary in accordance with customer requirements. Exact estimates can only be given after a thorough review of your project, often done by viewing or working with the originals or a few select samples. (Contact us to discuss further.) For example, the rate for a detailed OCR manual conversion can be as high as $15 to $20 per page, or as low as $1.75, depending on the level of quality requested, required manhours, and page/image count. All rates are listed as cost per page/image, with a $75 minimum charge. Prices per page/image are the same for single and double sided pages. If your exact page/image size is not shown in the Price List (above), use the next size up to determine your rate.
