Text Recognition (OCR)

A scanned image of text is captured by an OCR (optical character recognition) software program. The text can then be recognized by any word processor or text editing application and modified or reformatted as needed.

Recognized text can be edited, revised, reformatted, copied, printed or imported into almost any word processor, spreadsheet, database, or publishing software program.

Text can also be parsed or selectively extracted for specific data requirements.
